What a lovely idea! Just at the moment however, I am too blissed out by the idea of those flowers making actually courgettes to even think about plucking them early and eating them otherwise. That is the blessing curse of container gardening. The chances of being over-run by courgettes and eating their flowers as an act of self defense are pretty slim :)
we love courgette flowers stuffed with bits of cheese and anchovies, and fried in olive oil. hurray for summer!
